Why SNPP for Wireless Messaging Software?

SNPP (Simple Network Paging Protocol) is a connection-based protocol which allows you to communicate directly with your service providers messaging network. After the connection is established the network verifies the access number accepts the message and then acknowledges receipt of the message. You can be assured that when you receive the acknowledgement that your message is in the messaging network and on the way to the recipient.

Better than SMTP (e-mail) or TAP (Dialup) messaging solutions. SMTP messaging solutions can be very unreliable because of the tendency of e-mail servers to queue messages causing long delays.
